Tania Buonopane - Actress (The Call)Tania is a theater major at Salem State College and is one of the most talented individuals I've met so far in my 19 years of existence. She appears to act on instinct and is also very spontaneous in the way she works. Her most recent play production was Julius Caesar and before that she had a starring role in Fahrenheit 451 as the character Mildred. She is definitely the highlight of our little short film and if you asked me she should seriously consider acting in more Indie films along with persuing her career in theater... and perhaps even consider a job in modeling.
Justin Novelline - Actor (The Call)Justin is a Renaissance man. He has acted in many school plays through out high school, can break dance, and is also the bass player in the local rock band Be Nice. His musical talents don't stop there, he plays guitar, piano, and he has also written and performed the main theme song for The Call. He first met Brendan in High School when they shared a drama class together and eventually they teamed up to make their very first 5 minute movie together titled Birth of a Hero for a TV production class. Justin is currently a graphic design major.
Brendan Morrisey - Director (The Call, Rudolf, The Muse)It all started with The Evil Dead. When I first saw that movie, I realized you don't need to work in Hollywood to make an entertaining movie, you can do it on your own. During my senior year of High School I applied to film school and was rejected. After that I became both a film student and a film professor by teaching myself the craft. With the small success I have had with The Call, I have transferred from Middlesex Community College and am now a film major at the University of Utah.
My favorite film of all time is Taxi Driver.
Irving Chung - Crew Member (The Call)Irving and Brendan have known each other since the second grade, and ever since then they have had a shitload in common. If Brendan was one half of the human brain, Irving would be the second half. He is currently enrolled at Duke University in North Carolina and is studying to become a mad doctor! In his spare time he draws some ridiculously bizarre cartoons and doodles such as The Stop Sign Bandit and RoboCesar. His involvement in The Call besides appearing as a fake shemp has also consisted of critiquing the movie in it’s earliest phases during post-production in order to help Brendan in achieving an idea of how he wanted this movie to be presented to people.
His favorite film of all time is Alien.
Jed Rothfeld - Crew Member (The Call)Jed is currently a film major at the College of Santa Fe, and has also been working on his own personal movies along with 48 hour film projects through out his years in high school. Some of his previous work includes The Viper, Indecent-Exposure Man, and A Halloween Carol. One of his favorite filmmakers is Harmony Korine.
